Professional portrait of Mitchel Reed in a suit with a U.S. flag background

Meet Mitch

I spent over a decade in government service. As a U.S. Army officer, I led air and missile defense operations, managed hundreds of millions of dollars in assets, and deployed to Afghanistan and the Middle East. After I retired, I continued in the work as both a contractor, then later a federal civilian, helping to run operational test and evaluation for Air Force command and control programs.

In addition to government work, I have also served on numerous boards, thousands of volunteer hours, worked in product, operations, sales, customer service, and served as a senior executive both in tech and nonprofit sectors, and remain active in my community and as an advocate for our children and their future.

I earned a master's in leadership from the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) and picked up my share of certifications along the way.

Today I run Reed Think Consulting, where I help small and mid-sized companies grow. My passion is those who value positive social impact and helping them achieve success. Clients come to me for straight talk on strategy, business development, and getting organized to compete.

I've built teams, launched products, and helped transform operations. I bring genuine, innovative practical approaches to every engagement.

I spent most of my childhood in Northwest Florida, where we enjoy time with our children and our homestead.
